Whereas John Stevens deceased did by his last Will and
Testament devise to me Elizabeth Stevens during widowhood all his real estate
which will more fully appear by reference to said Will of record in Mason
County and whereas I not having married since the death of said John my
husband feel disposed to convey to the children of the said John my right to a
tract of land containing 506 acres lying in Campbell County in the State of
Kentucky. Indenture made 27 March 1812 between Elizabeth, widow of John
Stevens deceased of the one part and Sarah White, Elizabeth Kelly, Thomas
Stevens, James Stevens, Susannah Ware and Hissy Riley the children of the said
John deceased of the other part. Elizabeth in consideration of $l sells her
right to a certain tract of land containing 506 acres lying in the County of
Campbell beginning at 2 hickories and a whiteoak the 2nd corner of a tract of
land containing 1000 acres granted by the Commonwealth of Kentucky to John
Stevens by patent dated the 22 February 1794.
