NEWPORT
John H Simon, for the past 25 years employed by the C&O Railroad
as car inspector, died yesterday at Speers Hospital. He was 48 years of age and
is survived by a widow.
He was a member of the St George Benevolent Association, the Foresters of the Cross and Crown Circle of the Corpus Christi Church.
The remains were removed to his residence, 332 West Ninth street, whence the funeral will take place Wednesday Morning. Requiem high mass will be celebrated at Corpus Christi Church at 9 am.
