John Rich, who 12 years ago was sounding taps at the old Newport
Barracks, as a trumpeter in Company E, Sixth Infantry, is visiting friends here
in Ft Thomas. He is now connected with the Fairmount Coal & Mining Company and
is located at Clarksburg, W Va. at the Pinni Knie Mine.
