J D Paul, a Cincinnati and New Orleans pilot, died in Newport Saturday. John D Paul, the well known Cincinnati and New Orleans pilot, died at Newport, Saturday of erysipelas, aged twenty-seven years. His funeral will take place from the place of his death, on Saratoga street, between Bellevue and Madison streets, Newport at 12 PM today.
The flags will be displayed at half mast at the Landing.
