NEWPORT
John F Otting, 48, head of the bill posting business in Newport,
died yesterday morning at the family residence, 322 Park avenue. Following an
attack of typhoid fever last November, he developed dropsy and a complication
hastened his demise. He leaves a wife and family of grown children.
He was a member of the Odd Fellows and that order will be represented at the funeral which will take place Wednesday at 2 pm. with services at the residence.
