The funeral of John Ostermeyer, who died Tuesday evening in Newport after a lingering illness, will take place Friday afternoon at 1:30 pm from the residence, 840 Central av. Deceased was born in the Newport Barracks and resided in Newport all his life.
A widow and four sons, Harry, John, Reuben and Samuel survive him. The pallbearers will be Henry Marsh, Robert Hudson, Charles Zeil, Frank X Roll, Charles Meyers, Frank Feldkamp, Henry Bertmann and William Duckweiler. He was a member of the Commonwealth Mutual Aid Association, Turners and Germania Lodged No 308, K and I of Honor, K and L of Security and Director in Pioneer Loan and Building Association.
