WATCHMAN AT NEWPORT MILL
John F Meyers, 58, employed as a night watchman at the Newport
Rolling Mill, was stricken with paralysis while at his post of duty early
yesterday morning, and died later at his home, 713 Central av. Meyers was found
unconscious by some of the employees of the mill and was removed at once in a
patrol to his home. He never regained consciousness and expired shortly after
noon.
He leaves a widow and five children.
