Mr. John Locke Sr. well known as "Farmer" Locke since the Pearl Bryan tragedy, is adding a large addition to his store at the end of the street care line, to accommodate the large number of visitors who still find the spot where the unfortunate girl's body was found a great attraction.

John B Lock, 86, of 1337 S Ft Thomas av. for 71 years a resident of Campbell co. and for many years one of the best known men in the county, died at his home Monday night after an illness of a week. He conducted a grocery store at Eighth and Monmouth streets for many years. He retired several years ago.
He was a member of Robert Burns Lodge F&AM and a member of the St Paul Episcopal Church of Newport. Funeral services will be conducted from the chapel of the Evergreen Cemetery Thursday morning at 10 am. Services will be private. Six children survive. They are: W E Lock, Cincinnati; FredJ and John B Jr. Ft Thomas; Mrs. Fred L Henger, Detroit, and Mrs. Clyde Congrove, Hyde Park, Cincinnati.
