Mayor John Kruchten, of Dayton, says that the honors of the
Sheriff's office of Campbell County are being thrust upon him. It has been
stated that he would contest for the position this fall, but he can not see it
that way. Mayor Kruchten is a successful business man. He advocated a new City
Building at no cost to the city. He has seen the city grown wonderfully under
his administration.
