DEATHS AND FUNERALS
JOHN M. KOENINGER, 66, a trainman for the C&O Railroad yards, Silver Grove, died Wednesday at St. Elizabeth Hospital. Mr. Koeininger lived at 837 Monroe St., Newport. He was a member of the Marydale Retreal League, a member of the Bob White Club, and the Holy Name Society of St. Stephen Church. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Frances Enzweiler Koeninger; three daughters, Mrs. Margaret Zink, Woodlawn; Mrs. Dorothy Grothaus, Newport; and Mrs. Mary Fritsch, Springdale, Ohio; five sons, Jack Koeninger, Woodlawn; Ralph Koeninger, Southgate; Earl Koeninger, Newport; Charles Koeninger, Cold Spring; and Paul Koeninger, Ft. Mitchell; two sisters, Mrs. Frances Kramer and Mrs. Alma Steffens, both of Ft. Thomas, and 41 grandchildren.
Mass will be at 9 a.m. Saturday at St. Stephen Church. Visitation, 4 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Muehlenkamp-Erschell Newport Funeral Home.
