A DESERTER FROM HUMPHREY MARSHALL'S ARMY-John H Corbin, of Captain Ben Mullins' company, attached to Colonel Clay's regiment-Fourth Kentucky (rebel) Cavalry-deserted at Hazel Green, Morgan County, about two weeks ago and surrendered himself to Colonel J A Lucy in Covington yesterday.
Corbin is a resident of this county. He is in the Military Prison in Covington, but will probably be paroled.
