Ft Thomas Living
Mr. and Mrs. Fred J Hagedorn, 57 Curtis Avenue, Ft Thomas, received a letter yesterday from their son, Technical Sergeant Fred J Hagedorn Jr. stating he had arrived safely in Africa. Sergeant Hagdedorn, who is in the Army Air Forces, enlisted in July 1942. A graduate of Newport High School and Ohio Mechanics Institute, Cincinnati, he was with the Ryerson Steel Company, Cincinnati, prior to entering the Army.
His brother, Corporal John P Hagedorn, also in the Air Force, is stationed at Boca Raton Fla. Before enlisting in December 1943, he was in the advertising department of the Enquirer.
