John M Fallon, 57, a former cut stone contractor of Newport and
an old and respected citizen, died last night at St Elizabeth Hospital after a
lingering illness. He was an expert at his trade, having worked on the
Congressional Library Building in Washington and many of the finest structures
in Cincinnati.
He was a widower. His son, Pete Fallon, died in the Philippine Islands while serving with the regular army there.
