VETERAN DEMOCRAT DIED IN NEWPORT
John Donahue, one of the best known citizens of Newport, died
this morning at his residence, on Sixth Street, near Saratoga, at 6 o'clock
after a three week illness brought on by overwork.
He has lived in Newport 32 years and has for years frun the Tobacco Leaf resort in Cincinnati. He was an active Democrat and was 55 years of age when he died. His death was wholly unexpected.
