Leonhardt Dilling
Johann Leonhardt Dilling was born 3 July 1834 in Bayern, Bavaria, Germany, the son of George & Margartha. He enlisted in the Union Army at Cincinnati on 26 Sep 1864 as a private in Co D 2nd Cincinnati Heavy Artillery. He mustered out 16 June 1865 in Knoxville Tenn. He married Anna Barbara Sauer.
John died 8 Feb 1895 at the Dayton Soldier's Home in Dayton O. and was buried in Evergreen Cemetery.
