NEWPORT
EFFECTS OF THE HEAT-Two workmen at Swift & Co's rolling mill, on
the Licking River, names Isaac Hill and John Davis, were overcome by heat
yesterday and both died in a few hours afterward.
Hill resided on Eleventh street near Greenup in Covington. Davis was a citizen of Newport.
