John A Cracklin, a veteran of the Civil War, is endeavoring to located his sister, Mary A Dearborn, whom he has not seen for 40 years. Cracklin is in a hopeless condition as a result of rheumatic troubles. He lives at 115 West Fourth St. Newport.

The body of John Cracklin, 76, veteran of the Civil War and former well known resident of Newport, who died in the Dayton O. Soldiers Home will be brought here for burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
