John S Carr, formerly of Newport, was buried late Friday in Zachary Taylor Cemetery, Louisville. Mr. Carr, a veteran of World War I, was stationed many years at the Ft Thomas Army Post. He died Tuesday at his home in Louisville. He was 51. Mr. Carr leaves his widow, Anna Carr; two sisters, Mrs. Lorena Browne, Newport and Mrs. Blanche Bloom, Louisillve; two brothers, William F Carr, Cincinnati and Douglas Carr, Detroit; two nieces and four nephews.
