FT THOMAS-The funeral of Private John Burns, whose mysterious death occurred Wednesday, will take place this afternoon with military honors. His parents who were supposed to live at Chester, Penn. could not be located. It has developed that Burns drank a quantity of wood alcohol as a beverage and died in great agony.

The remains will be interred in Evergreen Cemetery.

The funeral of Private Burns Regimental Band, took place Friday afternoon from the post chapel. The entire command was paraded, Col. Haskell, Adjt. Sample and the noncommissioned staff of the regiment, the band being needed to furnish the music for the military ceremony.
