FALL INJURIES FATAL TO NEWPORT MAN, 84


John J Bleichner, 84, retired clerk formerly employed by the Glenn Rendezvous, Newport, died early Tuesday at St Elizabeth Hospital, Covington, as the result of a fall at the home of his niece, Mrs. John Dedden, Crescent Springs.

Mr. Bleichner, who made his home with a daughter Mrs. Lucille Frank, 5517 Marie avenue, Bridgetown, O. was visiting his niece. Robert C Dorsey, acting Kenton county coroner, said head injuries and shock suffered in the fall down a flight of basement stairs were the cause of his death.

Beside his daughter and niece, Mr. Bleichner leaves his widow, Mrs. Theresa Bleichner; a son, Frank Bleichner, Southgate: four grandchildren and several other nieces and nephews. Mrs. Dedden in the wife of owner Dedden Restaurant, 408 Madison avenue, Covington.

The Dobbling funeral home, Bellevue, is in charge of arrangements.

NORTHERN KENTUCKY DEATHS


Requiem High Mass will be sung at 9 a.m. Friday at St Anthony Church, Bellevue, for John (Dude) Bleichner, 84, former resident of Bellevue and retired clerk formerly employed at the Glenn Rendezvous, Newport. Prayers will be said at 8:30 a.m. at the Dobbling Funeral Home, Newport.

Burial will be in St Joseph Cemetery, Johns Hill. Mr. Bleichner died Tuesday at St Elizabeth Hospital, Covington, as a result of injuries suffered Sunday in a fall at the home of a niece. Mrs. John Dedden, Crescent Springs. A resident of Bellevue most of his life, Mr. Bleichner moved to Bridgetown, O. four years ago to make his home with a daughter, Mrs. Lucille Frank, 5517 Marie Avenue.
