NEWPORT NEWS
DROWNED-A little son of John Albert, a baker, who resides at the
corner of Columbia and Bellevue streets, was drowned on Tuesday afternoon, about
three o'clock, near Wolf's mill. The parents of the unfortunate little
boy, who was about nine years of age, were at a picnic when the sad news of his
sudden death reached them.
Efforts have been made to find the remains but without success.
