He received a license from Campbell County, Kentucky to operate a Tavern. He is also listed on census lists as a grocer. His home and Tavern was located at the intersection of Licking Pike and 3 Mile road just north of St. John's Catholic Church. He is buried in the old St. John's Catholic Cemetery near Northern Kentucky University on John's Hill Road. Shown on the 1850 census of Campbell, County, Kentucky as Adam Seward. Wife as Rebecca.

from their family born in Kentucky on 1879 and the next child born in Ohio in
1880. Thus, I give the date of their move to Ohio as 1879-1880.

Per conversation with Mary Seibert Baumgartner on Feb 28,
1982. Elizabeth Thurner Seibert had a sister that stayed in Germany
(Austria?) when the rest of the family came to America. Her name was Rosie
Thurner and she married Otto Hafele who was a honey dipper. They had children:
Ervin, Terry and Anna and lived in the west end of Newport. She was 26 when she
came to America and Elizabeth was already married. Louis Thurner worked at St.
Stephens Cemetery and had 2 daughters one of whom was named Lula. One daughter
married a Weinel.

Andy was a blacksmith, a farrier, a wagon builder and an automobile mechanic. He also worked at the steel mill in Newport, Kentucky. He ran for County Commissioner of Campbell County in 1933 under the motto "Everybody's Friend". He was very good with horses and one story told of him said that he had cured a horse that the veterinarian had given up on, by using a home remedy and treatment.
