SALAZMAN, Joanne Wallace-60, of Newport, died at 3:55 p.m. Monday at St. Luke Hospital. She was a sales clerk for 18 years at McAlpin's department store.

Survivors include her husband, Charles W. Salazman; a daughter, Lori Salazman of Newport; sons C. Michael Salazman of Newport and Jaime W. Salazman of Green Township, Ohio; grandsons, Kevin B. Salazman and Nicholas R. Salazman; a sister, Rosemary Crow of Newport; a stepbrother, John E. Wallace III of Columbus, Ohio; and a stepsister, Sharon Vode of Houston.

Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Francis DeSales Church, Newport. Prayers will be at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Muehlenkamp-Erschell Funeral Home, Newport. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 tonight at the funeral home. Entombment will be in St. Stephen Cemetery Mausoleum, Ft. Thomas.
