Jesse Theiss

Mr. Jesse Theiss passed to his eternal rest suddenly on Friday afternoon, August 1st at the age of 52 years, 9 months and 22 days. He was born in Newport Ky. on October 9, 1899 and lived here all but 19 years of his life that was spent in Addyston Ohio. He was a druggist by profession and a member of St Paul's Church and the Men's Club.
On February 1, 1919 he was happily married to Miss Edna Bohart and to this couple 6 children were born, one of whom lost his life in World War II. Surviving and mourning the passing of Mr. Theiss are the widow, Edna; two sons Jesse Harry of Hyde Park, Cincinnati O; James who is in the Navy; three daughters Mrs. Edna Mae Herb of Newport, Mrs. Rosemary Sticklen of Fort Thomas, and Emma Jane at home; four grandchildren; his mother Mrs. Sarah Theiss of Newport, one brother Thomas Theiss of Southgate; one sister Mrs. Eleanor Worthington of Newport; many relatives and a host of friends.
Burial took place on Wednesday August 6 in Evergreen Cemetery.
