Northern Kentucky's largest theater, the Hippodrome, on Monmouth between Seventh and Eighth, Newport, will be formally opened Thursday night. The theater was started in September and has cost $50,000.
Beautiful interior decorations have been made by Jess Sawyer, Newport artist. The theater seats 2500.
