Jennie Hartman

Kentucky Post, Thursday, 18 May 1905, page 5

Mrs. Jennie Hartman of Newport, who was being held prisoner by the city authorities pending her return to Lakeland Asylum, was taken to that institution today by Lieut. Leahey. Mrs. Hartman was released from the asylum several weeks ago on parole, she having recovered, it was thought.

Several days ago she became violent and she had to be placed under restraint. The county officials claimed they had no funds to pay for her return and the city officials decided to stand the expense rather than allow her to go unrestrained.
