BURNS FATAL TO FORMER RESIDENT
Mrs. Jennie Coburn, 35, wife of James Coburn, who resides on the
Alexandria Pike, just east of Newport Ky. died from burns she received when a
gasoline stove exploded. She gave birth to a son last Friday and the child only
lived a short time. Mrs. Coburn formerly resided here.
In addition to her husband, she leaves six children. She also leaves her father, Berry Young of this city; her mother Mrs. Josephine Odie of Friendship; and two brothers and a sister, Edward Young, a local real estate dealer, William of Cleveland and Mrs. Frank Kelley of Columbus.
Funeral services were held at Newport, Monday.
