NEWPORT
James Woodside, of the Fire Department, was taken suddenly with a stroke of paralysis in the right side Saturday while out walking and fell to the ground.
He was taken to a residence nearby and afterward taken to his home. The attending physician pronounces it a light attack and thinks he will be out in a few days.
