INJURY IS FATAL
James Douglas Pagan, 80, of 32 E Front St. Newport, died
Wednesday night at St Elizabeth Hospital where he has been confined since last
September when he suffered a hip fracture. Pagan had been a resident of Newport
all his life. He was a contracting painter and was associated with his father in
the business before his father's death.
He is survived by his sister, Mrs. E Belle Williams of Grand Rapids Mich. and two brothers Sidney M Pagan of Philadelphia and W W Pagan of Ft Thomas. Funeral services will be held at the William C Betz funeral home, 23 E Sixth st. Newport at 2:30 pm Saturday. Rev D M Funk, pastor of St Mark Lutheran Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
