Mr. James Pagan Jr. the well known pilot and son of Mr. James Pagan of this city died last Thursday in Denver Colorado from consumption. His remains accompanied by his mother will arrive here this evening for burial.
He had many friends who will sincerely moan his loss.

The funeral of the late James Pagan Jr. took place yesterday afternoon from the First Presbyterian Church. The Blue Lodge of Masons, Olive Branch Chapter and Newport Commandery K T of which the deceased was a member, also the Pilots Association attended in a body.
Rev Dr. H J Steward, assisted by Rev Mr. Pettis, conducted the services, after which the remains were taken to Evergreen Cemetery for Interment. The following gentlemen acted as pallbearers: Memrs. George Trunnell and Isaac Brooks from the Piolots: W H Harton and Edward Lapse. from Newport Commandery; William Hazelwood and J M Howe from Olive Branch Chapter; and Chas Bogggs and Chares Surran from Newport Lodge of Mason.
