James Molen, 79, ice cream manufacturer, who died Thursday at his home, 558 E Third st. Newport, will be buried Monday in Evergreen cemetery, following services at the residence at 2 pm.

Molen was a member of the Covington GAR post and Royal Americans of Newport. He is survived by his widow and six children, James Molen Jr. Southgate; Charles Molen, Mrs. Stewart Haddox and Miss Julia Molen, Newport; Mrs. Earl Gleason, Portsmouth O. and Mrs. John Radcliffe, Russell Ky.

Funeral services for Mrs. Emily Molen, widow of James Molen, Civil War veteran, will be conducted at her residence, 558 E Third street, Newport at 2 pm Saturday. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Mrs. Molen, a native of Maysville, died yesterday at her home. She had lived in Newport for the past 36 years.

Surviving here are four daughters, Mrs. L S Haddox, Lexington; Mrs. J C Radcliff, Russell Ky. and Mrs. D B Murfin and Mrs. E C Gleason, both of Portsmouth O; two sons, James, Cincinnati and Charles, Newport; one sister, Mrs. Mary Sheppard, Akron O. one brother, John Green, Cardwell Mo. and five grandchildren.
