On the Motion of George Smith who together with Wm.
Reddeck and J. Huling, his security executed bond in the penalty of one
thousand dollars conditioned as the law directs; It is ordered that he be
appointed guardian to Polly Smith, George Smith, Harrison Smith, Sally Smith,
Robert Smith & Zachariah Smith and James Smith, infant heirs of James Smith
deceased.

Indentures made 10 January 1829 between John Boyd and
Susan Boyd, late Susan Smith, an heir and legal representative of James Smith,
deceased of the County of Campbell and State of Kentucky of the one part and
Rees Gaddis of the County of Campbell of the other part. John and Susan
for and in consideration of the sum of $80 sell all that tract of land being
the undivided half of lot No. 43, reference being had to the original plan of
the town of Newport which said undivided half of lot No. 43 was conveyed by
deed of general warranty dated March 5, 1807 by Joseph Todd and Elizabeth his
wife to James Smith, who has since departed this life and from whom the said
Susan Boyd, late Smith derives title to said undivided half of lot no. 43 as
