The funeral of James Knobloch, former Superintendent of Public
Works in Newport took place Sunday afternoon from the home of his brother, John,
on Tenth and Orchard sts. Services were conducted at the Evergreen Cemetery
Chapel by J P Whitehead.
The pallbearers were: For the family, Theodore Marz, Peter Hughes, Edward King and Louis Brand; for the Masonic fraternity, Postmaster John Meyer, William Reilley, both of Newport and P E Pards and W S Smallwood both of Piedmont Va.
