CELEBRATE BIRTHDAY
Captain James H Simons, of Newport, celebrated his eighty-fourth
birthday yesterday. He has been connected with the river trade since a boy of
12, retiring only a few years ago. He is the oldest river man and the oldest
Mason in the county.
He has been a member of Robert Burns Lodge of Masons since its organization and of the Franklin Lodge of Odd Fellows, Cincinnati for over 60 years.
