James Shaw

Alexandria, Campbell County, Kentucky
It appearing to the satisfaction of the Court from the
evidence of Joseph Dicken, Thomas Stevens and George Gradon, a regular
ordained minister of the Gospel and Avice White that James Shaw deceased, a
Revolutionary soldier departed this life on the 18th day of October 1823 and
that it is the prevailing opinion in the neighborhood in which the said James
Shaw lately resided that he was a Revolutionary soldier in which opinion the
Court doth concur. And it further appearing to the satisfaction of the
Court from the evidence aforesaid that Anna Shaw who appeared in Court and
swore to and subscribed her declaration is the identical widow of the said
James Shaw and that she is a woman of credible integrity - all of which is
ordered to be certified in due form.
