Dr. James Alexander Duckworth, 63, died Wednesday at his residence, Manor lane, Ft Thomas. Besides his widow (formerly Miss Sophie Hagemann) he leaves a son, Cecil, who is in the aviation corps of the British Army and a daughter, Helen Duckworth. Dr. Anna Hageman, Union Trust building Cincinnati, was a sister in law.
Dr. Duckworth was born at Rose Hill, Chester, England. He was a charter member of the Overseas Club, the Royal Southwest Yacht club of Plymouth; the Ft Thomas lodge of Masons and a member of the Church of England.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 10 am at the residence on Manor lane, Ft Thomas. Ft Thomas lodge of Masons will have charge of the services. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Members of Ft Thomas lodge are to meet at the Temple, Friday at 9:30 am to attend the funeral.
