James Dixon, the man who was found on the river bank just above the Covington water works Tuesday, is in a critical condition at St Elizabeth Hospital. Dr. Kearns states the chances are against Dixon's recovery. He is the son of Captain James Dixon, a pioneer house and sign painter, residing at 126 West Fourth Street, Newport, and a brother in law of Hon. Will H Lyons, member of the Kentucky Legislature.
Dixon had three good trades, house painter, watch case maker and upholsterer.
