In Judge Tracy's court the case of Nancy Oder against Dr. J B Beckett was placed on trial Wednesday morning. The plaintiff alleges on Aug 5, 1908, she fell and injured her right arm near the wrist; she went to Dr. Beckett who informed her one of the bones was broken; he set and bandaged the injured member; told her the arm was all right. She alleges the arm, wrist hand and fingers have since become stiff and that she is unable to use the arm, for which she seeks $10,000.

In Judge Tracy's court Thursday morning a jury found in favor of Dr. J B Beckett who was being sued by Nancy Oder for $10,000 damages, alleged to have been sustained by the wrongful setting of a broken wrist.

The estate of Dr. J B Beckett, physician, was bequeathed to the widow, Amelia Beckett by the terms of the will of the decedent, which was probated by Judge John E Read in Kenton County Court. The will provides the entire estate be given to file a bond or an inventory of the estate.
