Mrs. Thomas Perry, of 1012 Boone Street, Newport, gave a farewell party in honor of Color Sergeant James Alexander, her brother, whom she had not seen for six years. He has been in continuous service in the Philippines, but is at present stationed at Ft Riley.
Among those present were Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Crawford, Mr. and Mrs. Val Boader, Mr. and Mrs. George Nunner, Mr. and Mrs. W Adams, Mrs. O H Perry, Mrs. McLaughlin, Mr. and Mrs. McCann, Miss Sallie Perry, Mr. W Fausz, Mrs. Charles Sonneman and Mrs. and Mrs. Thomas Perry.
