FARMER DROPS DEAD
The sudden death of Jacob Vogel, 63, a prosperous farmer, whose
home was on Dodsworth Lane, near Alexandria, which occurred this morning, makes
the third in his family the past year.
His daughter in law committed suicide by taking carbolic acid and her husband duplicated her act several months later at his home in Newport. Vogel's death occurred at his home early today. He had not been ill and his taking off was a shock to the members of his family.
Coroner Digby was notified at noon of the death and went at once to the home to hold the inquest. Heart disease was given as the cause of death.
