RETURN OF A WOUNDED SOLDIER


Mr. Jacob Brandt, a member of Colonel Willichs' Thirty-Second Indiana (German) Regiment, who was wounded in the battle of Pittsburg Landing, reached his home in this city yesterday, having come to Evansville Ind. on the steamer Minehaha, and from thence by railroad to Cincinnati.

Mr. Brandt participated in the second day's fight and was wounded by a rifle ball, which struck him on the wrist.
