NEWPORT
DEATH OF JACOB GUGEL-Mr. Jacob Gugel jun. a highly respected
resident of this city, departed this life yesterday morning at six 'clock. Mr.
Gugel was about thirty-seven years of age and has resided in Newport all his
life.
He served in the Twenty-third Kentucky Regiment during the war. Mr. Gugel leaves a wife and two children to mourn his death.
