Isaac Thomas Fish, World War veteran and a former personel manager of the Heckin Can Co Cincinnati, died Wednesday at his home, 22 Shaw lane, Ft Thomas, after a lingering illness. He was formerly a member of the Ohio National Guards, and had served overseas with the 37th division, AEF.

He was gassed while in action in Belguim and had been confined in a British hospital for the duration of the war, but was released to make the return to American with his company. He was a former commander of the F W Galbrith Jr. Post No 515, American Legion; the Disabled American Veterans Society, Cincinnati and the I T Martin Chapter, Free and Accepted Masons, Sadyville Ky.

Born in Georgetown Ky. he moved to Cincinnati about 25 years ago. He was 42 years old. He leaves his widow, Hazel Fish and three children, Wallace, John David and Lucinda, all at home; a brother John Shuff Fish, Tenn. and his father, Thomas Fish, Georgetown Ky. He was a nephew of John L Shuff, general agent of the Union Central Life Insurance and honorary chairman of the Booth Memorial Board of Directors.

The funeral will be held at 2 pm Saturday at the Highland Methodist Church, Ft Thomas. Burial will be in Spring Grove Cemetery, with the A C Dobbling Sons, Ft Thomas funeral directors in charge.
