Kentucky Post, Monday, 16 March 1903, page 5
Irma Kuhnheim, of Elm Street, Newport, was run down by a buggy Sunday at Sixth and York Streets, but escaped injury beyond a few slight bruises. Albert Yeckel and Chief Clerk of Sheriff Reidel Chris Milius, were driving in a buggy and the little girl started across the street.
Seeing the buggy near her, she became frightened and stopped in the path of the horse. She was knocked down but not badly injured.
