The Soldiers of the War of 1812 will hold their annual reunion today at Paris, Kentucky. Esquire I B Payne and Isaac Morse are the only veterans of that war residents of this city. Mr. Payne will be in attendance.

The venerable Innes B Payne, who has reached the advanced age of eighty-eight years, will attend the annual reunion of the veterans of the war of 1812 to be held at Paris, Ky. June 18th.

The venerable Innes B Payne of this city, one of the few veterans of the War of 1812, yet he will probably be able to attend the annual meeting of the old soldiers to be held in Paris, this State, the 18th inst. that being the anniversary of the declaration of the war against Great Britain by the United States.  The city of Paris, as usual for a dozen years will give them a dinner this years at the Bourbon House.  The railroad passes them free.

The funeral of Innis B Payne, the well known and highly respected citizen, took place from the Taylor Street M E Church yesterday, and was largely attended by sympathizing friends.  The remains were interred in Evergreen Cemetery.

The pall bearers were; John Maphet, Judge Boyd, Captain Tinker and Mr. Cleary.
