Innes Baxter and Eliza Payne
Innes Baxter Payne was born in Mason County 21 Oct 1793, the son of Col. Duval Payne and Hannah Innes. He was a veteran of the War of 1812 and attended the annual meetings of the Veterans of the War of 1812, through 1870-1881. He was married to Eliza Summers, born 18 Dec 1805 in Virginia, on 16 June 1832 in Nicholas Co Ky. In 1850 they were living in Newport.
