BELLEVUE
John Crout, a driver for Huntemann's dairy, of the Highlands, was
bitten by a vicious dog belonging to Mr. S Dumler, the butcher of Fairfield
avenue. the dog is kept chained and when Crout when in to deliver the milk at 11
am yesterday, the large mastiff, which had broken the chain, seized the man by
the left arm, inflicting an ugly wound.
Dr. Schoolfield was summoned and treated the member which was terribly lacerated.
