promotion of her son, Howard Noel, to sergeant in the Medical Corps.

Funeral services for Howard M Noel, 409 Washington avenue, Newport, will be held at the William C Betz Sons funeral home, Newport, at 2 pm Monday. Cremation will follow. Mr. Noel died suddenly Friday in Louisville. He was a traveling salesman for the National Lead Co Cincinnati. Mr. Noel was a son of the late Joseph C Noel, Bellevue.
He leaves a widow, Mrs. Gertrude Duttle Noel; two sisters Mrs. Alma Schubert, Shilling, Pa. and Mrs. Anna May Thomas, Bellevue; two brothers, William Noel, Harlan, Ky. and Henry Noel, Cincinnati and an uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. William Mueller, Bellevue.
