Horace Pate, 78, of Cincinnati, formerly of Newport, died Monday at Clovernook
Pavilion, Cincinnati. He was an employee of the City of Newport. His wife,
Annie Pate, and a son, Horace Pate Jr., both preceded him in death.

Survivors include daughters, Denise Pate, Ethelyn Gover, Tina Pate and Lucy Pate,
all of Cincinnati; a son, Mark Pate of Cincinnati; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Highland Cemetery, Fort Mitchell.
Jones, Simpson & Gee Funeral Home, Covington, is handling arrangements.
