NEWPORT
John Hildebrandt, a brother of Ike Hildebrandt, keeps a saloon on
Brighton street, at the entrance of the Newport and Covington bridge. He closed
the saloon Monday and went to Moscow Ohio.
Upon his return yesterday he discovered that the place had been visited by thieve, who had extracted all the change from the money drawer and removed a lot of cigars, tobacco and liquors. The case was reported to the police and Sergeant Schwartz detailed on the case.
